Illustration Friday: Garden
I painted this a while ago for a possible book. It didn't work out, so I thought that the theme this week was a good excuse to show it. We have had so much snow that it is hard to imagine ever seeing greenery again. Might as well dream about a nice little fairy garden...

So pretty and sweet!!
Its a beautiful illustration. so much detail and a story in itself of all the different creatures. love the spider knitting her web. great colours.
So sweet I love the lacy web as well, and the cute little snail (and I hate snails).

So beautiful and what wonderful colors!
gorgeous!!! My favorite is the little snail .. and the little one that is peeping out of the flower. Love the way u use the light effect. love it!
This is SO SO SO Sweet! Too bad the book deal fell through.
Beautiful piece, Susan! Yeah, I know it's still a long way off from seeing images like this for real given the amount of snow up there, but maybe a lengthy "heat wave" will take away the mean snow in good time. Or like you said, you can always dream. : )
lovely!! different, because your work has moved... but the little scenes are so cute!
You are just amazing !
Such a beautiful picture-- I wish the book had worked out!
I'm buried under snow too, but the sun is higher in the sky, new birds are stopping through and it doesn't smell so much like winter any more. Spring will get here eventually!
This is just wonderful.
It has so much detail!
Too cute.

What a good idea to write a picture book about Sienna-Rose, we'll have to put our heads together and see if we can come up with something cute!!
